The call for abstracts for presentations at European Offshore Wind 2009 is now open. Covering a wide range of topics, from business and policy to science and technology, the conference programme offers delegates a valuable insight into the state-of-the-art of the offshore wind industry.

The 2009 conference will examine how the development of offshore wind energy is progressing and will propose solutions to the many challenges still facing the industry.
Truly an international project, the expansion of Europe’s offshore wind capacity requires concerted cross-border action if offshore wind is to fulfil its potential as a major renewable energy source by 2020.
The conference programme will present practical steps forward to decision makers at EU and national levels and emphasise the importance of grid integration, industrial development and environmental and administrative considerations.
